The Ethereum network recently welcomed the Dencun upgrade, a significant advancement that is expected to significantly reduce transaction fees in layer-2 networks and enhance Ethereum’s scalability. The much-awaited hard fork, Dencun, went live on March 13 at 1:55 pm UTC. It represents a significant stride towards improving the operational efficiency of the Ethereum network, despite not being a complete solution to all the challenges faced by layer-2 networks.
