Blur, an NFT marketplace, recently executed a significant airdrop, distributing 300 million tokens, roughly valued at $146 million, to its user base. The Blur NFT marketplace airdrop forms a part of a plan to entice traders and has stirred conversation in the airdrop domain. A noteworthy instance is an anonymous NFT trader, known as ‘hanwe.eth’, who claimed nearly $11 million from this airdrop. However, the substantial rewards haven’t appeased all traders, with some voicing their discontent. Earlier this year, Blur outperformed OpenSea in daily EtherEther (ETH) is used to pay for computation and token swaps on Ethereum. Users "fuel" smart contracts and DApps with ETH. More trading, prompting the latter to introduce a 0% fee regime to recapture its audience.
