AMLA, Europe’s New Crypto Overseer, Set to Launch by 2025
The European Union is launching the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), the new crypto overseer in Europe, by 2025. Based in Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub, the AMLA will oversee high-risk and transnational financial entities, including crypto firms. The Authority will work in conjunction with financial intelligence units and regulators from other EU nations in its supervisory role.
